Eight practical lessons that teach the everyday skills of family caregiving — communication, safe moving and transfers, personal care, medications, nutrition, memory changes and caring for yourself. Each lesson ends with a practice activity in the printable course workbook.
This course teaches general caregiving skills for family members. It does not provide any certification or qualification and is not a substitute for hands-on instruction from a nurse or therapist.
